Spring Giveaway!

I did not wake up in the best mood today so I am going to do something about it! I want to giveaway some of my favorite fruity Orange and Pineapple Marshmallows and maybe some of our Hand-piped Marshmallow Chicks. Hand-piped Homemade Marshmallow Peeps

Let’s see if we can get to 1200 “Likes” on facebook and 1000 followers on twitter, and I bet since you guys are so excited to win we can close the giveaway by the end of the day.

So here is how we’re gonna do this . . . If you are not already a fan on facebook or follower on twitter start there.  Then tell all your friends about this giveaway by shouting form the internet rooftop about how much you want to enjoy Sweet Lydia’s Marshmallow! And since I want to share as much happiness as possible, I think we’ll have two winners but you must be a social media fan of Sweet Lydia’s to win. I’ll close the one giveaway when I hit 1200 “Likes” on facebook and the other when I hit 1000 followers on twitter.

Calling all recipes & a giveaway!

What is your favorite way to eat a marshmallow? Besides in one of our s’mores, that is.  I am looking for any and all suggestions and recipes that involve marshmallows, and I want your input.  Feel free to suggest recipes that involve flavored marshmallow too, not just Vanilla. Let me sweeten this for ya. One of the recipe entrants will be randomly selected to receive a free bag of the flavor marshmallows you use in your recipe. Each recipe you suggest counts as an entry and you can enter as many different recipes as you like!

Vintage Engagement Session Giveaway on Beantown Bride

You might remember me talking a lot about Beantown Bride recently.  They lovely Brittany Blando, founder and creative director of Beantown Bride, hosted a wedding professionals networking event in July where I had a spread of bite-sized marshmallow goodies.  I must mention again how wonderful the party was and how great it was to meet so many fabulous wedding professionals in the area.  I spent some time getting to know Tyra Bleek, a newly transplanted Boston wedding photographer.  It was a lovely surprise when I got a call from Tyra a few weeks later to participate in a giveaway she was organizing.  Her idea was simple, get a few great wedding professionals together on a vintage inspired engagement shoot giveaway to make some lucky couple happy. Tyra’s focal point for inspiration is the vintage silver trailer from that Punky Style.  Amy, from Punky Style, Haberdash Vintage and The Swapaholics has a fabulous silver vintage trailer that she uses to run a vintage clothing store and swap.  The engagement shoot will feature this sweet trailer

and the shoot will be styled by Amy as well.  Tyra has recruited Demiche Beauty to provide hair and make up for the shoot so the couple will look their very best for the shoot.  Florissima will be providing flowers to freshen up the  scene.  Sweet Lydia’s will provide some sugar cookie s’more pops and other goodies for props and refreshments.
